3. Stopping Distance

Good vision is crucial for stopping your vehicle in time to prevent accidents. At 55 mph, you need 200-300 feet to stop safely, and at 35 mph, you require 100-150 feet. If you can't see at least 300 feet ahead, driving at 55 mph is unsafe. Similarly, if you can't see at least 150 feet ahead, driving at 35 mph is hazardous. Sufficient vision directly impacts your ability to stop promptly and avoid accidents.
